Be Aware of Disaster Scams

CAT 5 Restoration has been in the business for over a decade. Yes we are reputable and yes we take care of our customers but there are other companies out there that may have less than desirable intentions. Here are some ways that you can protect yourself.

1. Don't pay upfront.

2. Be sure to get more than one estimate.

3. Try to use local contractors.

4. Keep a copy of all documentation.

5. Ask for contractors insurance information and make sure they are licensed.

6. Ask for guarantees in writing.

7. Don't sign completion papers until the work is done to your satisfaction
